ShopPotters Reward Points – Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 14 August 2026

These Terms and Conditions apply to the ShopPotters Rewards programme (“the Programme”), operated by Potters Leisure Limited (“ShopPotters”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By joining or participating in the Programme, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Joining ShopPotters Rewards

Membership is free and available to individual ShopPotters customers.

To participate, you must create or use a ShopPotters customer account with a valid email address. Only one rewards account is permitted per person. Accounts may not be shared, transferred, sold or used for commercial or resale purposes.

Points will normally be earned only after a customer has joined the Programme. Purchases or activities completed before joining will not normally qualify retrospectively unless ShopPotters expressly states otherwise.

2. Earning SP Points

Bronze members ordinarily collect 2 SP Points for every eligible £1 spent. Higher VIP tiers may earn points at an enhanced rate, as displayed in the customer’s rewards account.

Points are calculated on the eligible purchase value after discounts have been applied.

Points are not awarded on:

  • Delivery charges;
  • Gift cards;
  • Potters Resorts holidays;
  • Cancelled, returned or refunded products;
  • Any other products, services or transactions that ShopPotters identifies as excluded.

Unless stated otherwise, eligible full-price and sale products can earn points.

Additional points may be offered for activities such as creating an account, submitting an eligible product review, adding a birthday, taking part in a promotion or completing another activity shown in the customer’s rewards account.

The number of points offered for any activity will be the amount displayed when the activity is completed. Promotional points offers may be changed, limited or withdrawn at any time.

Seven-day points delay

Points earned from an eligible purchase will remain pending for seven days from the order date. This delay allows payment to clear and the order to be checked before points become available.

Pending points cannot be redeemed or counted towards VIP tier progression until the seven-day delay has ended.

If an order is cancelled or refunded during this period, some or all of the pending points may be withheld or cancelled.

3. Current rewards

Members can currently redeem points for the following rewards:

  • 500 SP Points: £2.50 off;
  • 1,000 SP Points: £5 off;
  • 1,000 SP Points: free standard delivery;
  • 2,000 SP Points: £10 off;
  • 4,000 SP Points: £20 off.

This is equivalent to £1 of discount value for every 200 SP Points redeemed against a money-off reward.

Available rewards and the points required may change. The options and points values displayed in the customer’s rewards account at the time of redemption will apply.

4. Redeeming points

Customers must be logged in to view their points balance and redeem SP Points.

When points are redeemed, a unique reward code will be issued. The code must be entered during checkout and cannot be applied after an order has been completed.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

  • Only one reward code may be used per eligible order;
  • Rewards cannot be exchanged for cash;
  • Rewards cannot be sold, transferred or added to another account;
  • Rewards cannot be used to purchase gift cards or Potters Resorts holidays;
  • Money-off rewards cannot reduce an order total below £0;
  • Free-delivery rewards apply only to eligible standard delivery services and destinations;
  • Rewards cannot be combined with another discount, offer or promotional code unless checkout expressly permits the combination.

Additional restrictions, minimum spends, excluded products or expiry dates may be displayed when a reward is issued. These form part of the reward’s terms.

5. Cancelling a redemption

Customers cannot cancel a points redemption themselves after a reward has been issued.

If a reward code remains unused, ShopPotters may be able to cancel it and return the corresponding points. This is not guaranteed and must be requested by contacting our customer service team.

Used, expired or otherwise invalid reward codes cannot normally be cancelled or exchanged.

6. Returns, cancellations and refunds

Points earned from a product that is subsequently cancelled, returned or refunded may be removed from the customer’s balance.

For a partial refund, the points relating to the refunded amount may be removed while the points relating to the retained products remain.

If points have already been spent, removing points following a refund may create a negative balance. Points earned from future activity may be used to clear that balance.

Reward codes used on refunded or cancelled orders are not automatically reissued, and the points used to obtain them are not automatically returned. ShopPotters may restore an unused or affected reward at its reasonable discretion.

These provisions do not affect your statutory rights or the rights set out in our Refund Policy.

7. Points expiry

A customer’s complete SP Points balance will expire if there has been no qualifying points activity on the account for 12 consecutive months.

Qualifying activity includes earning or redeeming points. When qualifying activity occurs, the expiry period restarts.

Where possible, we may send reminder emails before points expire. Customers are responsible for keeping their email address and communication preferences up to date. Failure to receive a reminder does not prevent points from expiring.

The current expiry date can be viewed in the customer’s rewards account.

8. VIP tiers

The Programme includes Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond VIP tiers.

Customers progress through tiers by meeting the qualifying requirements displayed in their rewards account. Tier earning rates, entry rewards and benefits vary by level.

VIP qualification is assessed on a calendar-year basis. Once a customer reaches a tier, they ordinarily retain it for the remainder of that calendar year and the following calendar year. Customers must then requalify to retain that tier for the subsequent period.

Pending points do not count towards VIP progression until the seven-day delay has ended and the points have become available.

Returned, cancelled or refunded purchases may affect VIP progress and could result in a customer moving to a lower tier.

Some VIP rewards are issued only once when a customer first enters a tier. Other perks may remain available while the customer holds the relevant tier. Availability, exclusions and fulfilment arrangements will be shown in the customer’s rewards account.

9. Birthday rewards

Where the birthday activity is available, customers may enter their birth month and day through their rewards account.

Birthday points are awarded once per 365-day period. A birthday must normally be entered at least 30 days before the selected date to qualify during that year. Birthdays entered closer to the date may qualify from the following year.

ShopPotters and its rewards provider may apply safeguards to prevent repeated or fraudulent birthday claims.

10. Product-review points

Points may be awarded for an eligible product review where this activity is displayed in the customer’s rewards account.

Points are awarded for submitting an eligible review, not for providing a positive rating. Reviews must relate to a genuine experience and comply with our review guidelines.

Duplicate, misleading, irrelevant, abusive or fraudulent reviews may be rejected, and any associated points may be removed.

11. Referrals

Members may receive a personal referral link to share with eligible friends or family.

Referral offers, including the rewards available to the existing customer and referred friend, will be shown at the time the referral is made.

Unless stated otherwise:

  • The referred friend must be a new ShopPotters customer;
  • The referred friend must use the email address entered when claiming the referral;
  • The existing customer receives their reward only after the referred friend completes an eligible first purchase;
  • Referral codes are intended for their named recipient and are single-use;
  • Customers cannot refer themselves or create additional accounts to obtain rewards;
  • Referrals between people using matching or closely connected account details may be reviewed or rejected.

We may block, cancel or investigate referrals that appear fraudulent, manipulated or inconsistent with the purpose of the Programme.

12. Account security

Customers are responsible for keeping their ShopPotters account details secure.

ShopPotters is not responsible for points or rewards used by another person who has gained access to an account because the customer failed to protect their login details.

Please contact us promptly if you believe your account or reward codes have been accessed without permission.

13. Misuse of the Programme

We may suspend or close an account, cancel rewards or remove points where we reasonably believe that a customer has:

  • Created duplicate or false accounts;
  • Manipulated points, referrals, reviews or promotional activities;
  • Attempted to sell or transfer rewards;
  • Abused discount codes;
  • Supplied false or misleading information;
  • Used the Programme for commercial or fraudulent purposes;
  • Otherwise breached these Terms and Conditions.

Where appropriate, we may also refuse further participation in the Programme.

14. Changes to the Programme

ShopPotters may change the Programme, including earning rates, redemption values, tier requirements, rewards, benefits, exclusions and expiry rules.

Where a change materially affects existing members, we will aim to provide reasonable notice through our website, rewards account or email, where practicable.

We may suspend or end the Programme where reasonably necessary. If the Programme ends, we may provide a period during which existing points can be redeemed. Any redemption period and applicable restrictions will be communicated at that time.

15. Closing an account

Customers may request closure of their ShopPotters account by contacting us.

Any unused points, reward codes, tier status or other Programme benefits may be lost when an account is closed. These cannot be transferred to another account or converted into cash.

16. Privacy

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

The Programme is supported by Smile.io and Shopify. Information necessary to administer points, rewards, referrals, customer accounts and VIP status may be processed through these service providers.

17. Liability and statutory rights

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.

We are not responsible for temporary technical interruptions, delayed points processing or account-display errors outside our reasonable control.

Where an error occurs, we may correct points balances, rewards or tier status to reflect the activity that should properly have been recorded.

18. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also benefit from any mandatory protections available under the laws of the country in which you live.
